HOPEFUL WITH SOME ADJUSTMENTS

I decided to divide the blog post into 4 subject areas. I think it will help keep my thoughts clear.
Here I go...
RAISING KANE (me and my family)
Re-living teenage years through my son has been beyond special. Independence 101, he is a great kid but the tests include the mind, body and soul. Then we go to the other end with the girl as she enters puberty. Add a now hot summer, no job for me and the boy then sprinkle everything else on top and we have a masterpiece!
EWE TALKING HOMESTEAD
What's on my needles, wheel and spindle...still working on a shrug from June for my daughter, recasting a baby sweater for a cousin, True Blood knit along. Completed the above spindle spun Romney. Loved working on my spindle with this fiber I think I want some more. Working on the backyard, didn't get the garden in this year I think I will be better prepared next year. Got painting and making some curtains in my mind. Stay tuned...
A HOT MESS
I have been unemployed for way to long. Praying and trying to find the right fit has been a test of all that I am. Really can't add more to this right now.
LIGHT FOR THE JOURNEY
Whew...lot a work not to waste your days, as I said before, you don't get them back.
I'm just saying...

The Season, The Journey, I'm officially blooming

A day after my daughter's 11th birthday, which this match up will only happen once in this lifetime for her turning 11 on the 11th, I find myself being more purposeful. Truly realizing I will never get another day back. I can't continue to waste away, I know that is not God's purpose. I dishonor him with my waste and talking about being sinful...wow. So I have put myself on notice about my waste effective July 12, 2010. What is waste...I think I would call it not caring about the day and allowing my discontent to let it waste away. I'm just saying...
